Incretin-based therapy can improve glucose control in type 2 diabetes (T2D) with no weight gain. Usually dipeptidyl peptidase-IV (DPP-IV) inhibitors considered as weight neutral and glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists are associated with weight loss.
